In India, Poco has released a new smartphone. A recent addition to the company’s F series in the nation is the Poco F6 5G. It will take the place of the Poco F5, a 5G smartphone that was introduced in May of last year. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, OLED display, dual rear camera configuration, 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired fast charging, and other amazing features are all included in the new Poco F6.

The Poco F6 5G smartphone will come in Titanium and Black hues. There will be three variations available in terms of RAM and storage. The entry-level 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs 29,999 rupees, while the mid-range 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model costs 31,999. The more expensive 12GB + 512GB model costs Rs 33,999. The smartphone will be on sale on May 29 at Flipkart.com.
Bank promotions and exchange discounts are available to those who are interested in purchasing the Poco F3 5G. The smartphone will start at Rs. 25,999 when these discounts are applied. The price of the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB RAM and storage variants, respectively, is Rs. 27,999 and Rs. 29,999.
Poco F6 specifications
An octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU, up to 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM, and 512 UFS 4.0 storage power the Poco F6 5G smartphone. On the smartphone, HyperOS is built on Android 14.
It has a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a resolution of 1,220×2,712 pixels, and a peak brightness of 2,400 nits.
It has two back cameras, one of which is powered by a 50-megapixel sensor and supports both optical and electronic image stabilisation (OIS and EIS). An 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera is also included. The front camera has 20 megapixels for taking selfies and making video calls.
The Poco F6 5G has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 90W rapid charging. For thermal control, Poco’s Iceloop cooling technology is incorporated inside the gadget. It has USB Type-C port, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Galileo, GLONASS, and Beidou for connectivity. There are several sensors on board, including an IR blaster, proximity sensor, gyroscope, e-compass, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor.
The hybrid dual stereo speakers of the Poco F6 5G are certified for Hi-Res and Dolby Atmos compatible. Its design is splash- and dust-resistant, having an IP64 rating. It also supports face unlock and has an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
