Realme’s 300W Fast-Charging Technology Is Expected to Be Revealed With the Realme GT 7 Pro
The debut of the Realme GT 7 Pro in India is confirmed. Although the precise release date of the next GT series phone is still unknown, a well-known Chinese tipster has leaked information about its features. He claims that at the launch event for the Realme GT 7 Pro, Realme would demonstrate its 300W rapid charging technology. It is anticipated that Realme smartphones in the future would offer 300W rapid charging. This charging technique might take as little as five minutes to fully charge the battery.
Realme’s 300W Charging Solution
Weibo user Tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) states that the Realme GT 7 Pro will have an IP69-rated build that protects it from dust and water. It is also expected to include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Realme is also expected to present a 300W wired charging option in addition to the flagship phone of the upcoming GT series.
In a June video interview, Realme’s Global Marketing Director Francis Wong stated that the company is trying 300W charging. According to rumours, this charging technique can fully charge a battery in less than five minutes and fill it from empty to fifty percent in less than three.
With the Realme GT Neo 5, the Chinese tech company already provides 240W charging. The 4,600mAh battery is said to be fully charged in less than ten minutes, from 0% to 20% in 80 seconds, and from 0% to 50% in four minutes.
Redmi, the primary competitor of Realme in the market, showcased 300W charging in February of last year through the use of a customised Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition smartphone. The 4,100mAh battery is fully charged with this charging technology in less than five minutes. But as of yet, the Xiaomi subbrand hasn’t developed a phone that supports 300W fast charging.
The debut of the Realme GT 7 Pro in India was confirmed in May by Chase Xu, Vice President of Realme. It is anticipated to debut in this year’s fourth quarter. It might make its debut in international markets as the first phone to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.
