Redmi A3x Launched in India: Cost, Features, and Specifications

The Redmi A3x was introduced to the world in June as an affordable addition to the company’s well-liked A-series lineup. Redmi’s Indian affiliate unveiled the device to the local public recently, keeping the same hardware and design. The Redmi A3x, which boasts a large battery and the most recent version of Android, was covertly released in India for ₹6,999.

The phone has an internal storage capacity of 16GB and can accommodate a microSD card slot. The 3GB 64GB version costs ₹6,999, while the 4GB RAM with 128 GB of storage costs ₹7,999. Three colours are available: Olive Green, Midnight Black, Ocean Green, and Starry White.

It has a 6.71-inch IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, HD+ (1650×720) resolution, and Corning Gorilla Glass3 protection on top. The device is powered by a Unisoc T603 chipset that has a Mali G57 MP1 GPU. Moreover, the Redmi A3x has 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC5.1 internal storage, which can be expanded with an additional 1TB using a dedicated microSDXC card slot.

With a 5,000mAh battery, the Redmi A3x can accept up to 10W of charging power. With an 8MP primary sensor and a QVGA (0.08MP) secondary lens, it has a dual back camera configuration. It sports a 5MP front-facing camera for taking selfies and making video calls. The gadget comes pre-installed with the MIUI based on Android 14, and it will receive major OS updates every two years in addition to security updates every three years.

The Redmi A3x has AI face unlock and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. A 3.5mm headphone socket, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.4, and 4G VoLTE are among the other features.
