Release of the New Mahindra Thar Roxx Teaser Ahead of August 15 Launch

The wait is almost over as Mahindra gets ready to reveal the much anticipated SUV, the Thar Roxx. A new teaser for the five-door Thar has been released by the Indian automaker ahead of its August 15 official launch. The latest teaser provides further information about the features of the next off-road vehicle.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: What’s fresh?

Mahindra has released a new teaser which reveals that the five-door Thar Roxx will have a completely redesigned front fascia with larger and more noticeable seven vertical slats. This will improve the Thar’s already formidable road presence even further. Mahindra has fitted larger all-LED headlights with C-shaped LED DLRs to the new Thar. It still has foglamps tucked into the large front bumper and big shoulder height indicators. Completely LED illumination is anticipated for the top version.

The Thar Roxx will have exterior rearview mirrors installed on the doors, similar to the three-door Thar, with the Thar Roxx badging located beneath the A-pillar. It goes without saying that the five-door model is longer because it has two extra rear doors, but the teaser also showed that the door handles are integrated into the C-pillar by the manufacturer. Like the three-door model, the Thar Roxx has a brand-new set of dual-tone alloy wheels that should measure eighteen inches.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Features

Mahindra wants to improve the quality of its premium features. The 7-inch touch screen found on the three-door Thar will be replaced with a 10.25-inch infotainment system on the new Thar Roxx. In addition, it will have a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, and a larger 10.25-inch all-digital driver’s console.

The most significant addition will be the Level 2 ADAS safety suite, which will include traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking for automobiles, bicycles, and pedestrians, and front collision warning. There will be two drivetrain options for the Thar Roxx: 4×4 and rear-wheel drive.
