On April 8, Samsung, the massive South Korean electronics company, will introduce its newest smartphones, the Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G. According to a press release from Samsung, these upgrades to the hugely popular Galaxy M series should bring cutting-edge capabilities and creative advances.
The distinctive Galaxy design is used on the Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G. While the Galaxy M15 5G will come in three colors—Celestine Blue, Stone Grey, and Blue Topaz—the Galaxy M55 5G will only come in two colours: Light Green and Denim Black.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset powers the Galaxy M15 5G, whilst the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 CPU powers the Galaxy M55 5G.
While the Galaxy M15 5G has a 6000mAh battery, the Galaxy M55 5G has a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W rapid charging.
A 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits is included with the Galaxy M55 5G. A 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display is available on the Galaxy M15 5G, providing immersive images.
The 50MP primary camera of the Galaxy M55 5G has optical image stabilisation, while the 50MP high-resolution front camera has AI-enhanced capabilities like Object Eraser and Image Clipper. The Galaxy M15 5G, on the other hand, has a 50MP triple camera configuration.
Samsung Wallet and its tap and pay functionality are included with both the Galaxy M55 5G and Galaxy M15 5G.
