Sedrick Van Pran, a center for the Georgia Bulldogs, will play for the two-time defending national champions in 2023.
“One more year in Athens!” Van Pran made a tweet on Friday as the NFL made public the list of underclassmen who were granted special draft eligibility.
Van Pran finished his third season at Georgia, starting at center for the past two years and serving as co-captain for five games in 2022. He is 6-foot-4 and weighs 310 pounds.
Van Pran is ranked No. 1 by ESPN’s Mel Kiper and Todd McShay, respectively. 3 draft-eligible center, behind John Michael Schmitz of Minnesota and Olu Oluwatimi of Michigan. Van Pran is ranked No. 74th on ESPN’s list of potential draft picks.
This past season, Van Pran made second-team All-SEC. He has started 30 games in a row as the “iron man” for Georgia’s renowned offensive line. Van Pran, guards Xavier Truss and Tate Ratledge on the interior, and starting tackles Broderick Jones and Warren McClendon will return for Georgia.
