The Kushaq SUV was introduced by Skoda to our market almost three years ago, therefore it is almost time for a mid-life redesign. Skoda has done a good job of keeping the Kushaq current with new amenities and limited versions, but when it debuts the next year, it will get a complete facelift with more features.
- Kushaq facelift will get connected LED headlamps, tail lamps
- Equipment list will see addition of ADAS, 360-degree camera
- Will remain mechanically unchanged
Skoda Kushaq Facelift Exterior Updates
The Kushaq facelift is probably going to use a linked lighting motif for both its headlamps and taillights, which is a trend that is increasingly seen on vehicles in all market sectors. This may require a significant redesign of the headlamps, which are anticipated to be joined at the grille and will also grow in size. For that crucial family appearance, the linked taillights might be similar to those of the new Kodiaq. Redesigned front and back bumpers, new alloy wheels, and additional colour options are possible improvements.
Skoda Kushaq facelift interior, features
Although the precise specifications of the visual upgrades to the interior are still unknown, new trim, upholstery, and colours may be included. One thing is for certain, adding an ADAS suite to the equipment list will be beneficial.
Skoda Kushaq facelift powertrain options
Mechanically speaking, the Kushaq makeover will not vary from the present model. The 1.0-liter TSI with 115 horsepower and the 1.5-liter TSI with 150 horsepower and 250 Nm will still be available. Both the 1.5-liter TSI and the 1.0-liter TSI will come standard with a 6-speed DCT and 6-speed AT manual transmission, respectively.
