Skoda’s Upcoming Small SUV Teaser Reveals Launch Date of 2025

In early 2025, Skoda plans to unveil its sub-4-meter SUV, which has been teased. Like the Slavia and Kushaq, this new SUV will be built on the MQB A0 platform. The second teaser trailer, which was just released, highlights the car’s strong, tidy, and modern design philosophy.

Skoda Compact SUV: Design

The new sub-4-meter SUV will have split headlights and a large, three-dimensional hexagon-patterned grille with vertical slats on a chrome-finished frame, following in the footsteps of the Kushaq and Kodiaq. The Skoda SUV will have short overhangs, particularly in the back, just like any other small SUV in its class. Moreover, it will have the trademark muscular front and rear bumpers from Skoda.

the new SUV will have a Skoda nametag on the tailboard and an LED tail lamp in the shape of an upside-down L. The SUV will have roof rails as well. The following names are on the company’s short list but have not yet been disclosed: Kwiq, Kariq, Kyroq, Kymaq, or Kylaq. The Tata Nexon and the new Skoda SUV will face off in the most competitive sector. Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra 3X0, Kia Sonet, and Renault Kiger.

Skoda Compact SUV: Engine Specs

The new SUV from Skoda is anticipated to use a 1-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The engine found in the Kushaq and Slavia is the same one. With 114 horsepower and 178 Nm of torque, the powertrain will be offered with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter. It is anticipated that the new SUV would have front-ventilated seats and two digital displays.
