Tecno has increased its Spark 30 series line with the introduction of a new entry-level smartphone, the Spark 30C 5G. This new 5G-enabled smartphone complements the previously announced Spark 30, Spark 30 5G, Spark 30 Pro, and 30 Pro Transformer Limited Edition. Tecno packs a lot of interesting features into the new Spark while keeping the pricing relatively low.
The Spark 30C 5G features a 6.67-inch Dot-In HD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate capability. The company introduced a dynamic port function, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island, for alerts around the punch-hole camera.
It features the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core chipset based on a 6nm technology, as well as the Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for casual gaming sessions. The smartphone has 4GB of RAM, 4GB of virtual RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of storage, which can be expanded further via a microSD card slot.
The Spark 30C 5G’s rear features a 48MP Sony IMX582-powered primary camera and a secondary ‘AI camera’. There is an LED light ring next to the camera module for taking good low-light images. On the front, there is an 8MP centred punch-hole camera.
The 5,000mAh battery of the 5G smartphone supports 18W charging. Running on Android 14, it comes pre-installed with Tecno’s most recent HiOS 14.
The device’s dimensions are 165 x 77 x 8 mm, and its weight is 182 grammes (6.42 oz). Other notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP54 dust and splash protection, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility, and NFC.
The base 4GB + 64GB model of the Tecno Spark 30C 5G costs INR 9,999 (about $119), while the 4GB + 128GB model costs INR 10,499 (about $125). There are three colour options available: Aurora Cloud, Azure Sky, and Midnight Shadow.
