The 6000mAh Silicon Carbon Anode Battery For The Nubia Z60 Ultra Has Now Been Formally Confirmed
With a 6000mAh silicon carbon anode battery, Nubia’s newest flagship, the Nubia Z60 Ultra, is boldly referred to as “the battery life ceiling of the imaging flagship.” On December 19, the Nubia Z60 Ultra is scheduled to be released.
Compared to ordinary batteries, silicon carbon anode batteries provide a higher energy density.
Graphite anode batteries have been used in smartphones historically. The energy density is increased when silicon and graphite are used in the anode; this allows for the storage of more energy while maintaining the same battery weight. Although materials for pure silicon anodes have an excellent energy density, they have problems expanding during cycles of charging and discharging. This problem is solved by using an anode that is made of a combination of silicon and graphite (carbon), and Nubia’s next flagship phone does just that.
The outside design of the Z60 Ultra, which includes eye-catching variants like the Starry Sky Collector’s Edition, Galaxy, and Shine colours, has been officially revealed. The Starry Sky Collector’s Edition includes a special “lens nano texture,” a high-resolution starry sky micro-etching process, and an exclusive glasses-free 3D star diamond relief technology on its back panel. The Galaxy and Star Shine colour variations, on the other hand, use an AG matte process to combine matte and brilliant light elements in an aesthetically pleasant way.
The gadget has a fifth-generation, full-screen, narrow-bezel under-display camera (UDC) on the back. The optical image stabilisation (OIS)-equipped camera configuration consists of an 18mm 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 35mm 50MP primary camera, and an 85mm 64MP periscope telephoto lens. The potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, capability for 80W wired fast charging, and IP68 dust and water resistance are all expected features of the Z60 Ultra.
To sum up, Nubia’s Z60 Ultra keeps performance as its primary focus while also addressing an important component of smartphone use: battery life.
Launch is soon for the iQOO Pad Air and iQOO Neo 9, which are listed as supported devices on Google Play.
Later this month, iQOO will make the announcement of the iQOO Neo 9 line of smartphones in China. According to reports, the model numbers for the incoming Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro are V2338A and V2339A, respectively. The Neo 9 is now listed among the devices that Google Play supports, according to a recent article by TheTechOutlook. Furthermore, the same listing has also revealed the existence of a brand-new tablet known as the iQOO Pad Air.
The iQOO Neo 9 with the V2338A has been added to the list of Google Supported Devices, as can be observed in the screenshot above. Furthermore, there have also been sightings of the iQOO Pad Air with the model number iPA2451. There is no official announcement on the existence of the iQOO Pad Air, despite the Neo 9 being scheduled to launch on December 27.
According to the listing, the Vivo Pad Air and the iQOO Pad Air are the same gadget, designated as “PD2305.” Therefore, it is possible that the iQOO Pad Air is just the Vivo Pad Air under a different name. Whether the iQOO Pad Air launches concurrently with the Neo 9 series is still to be determined.
Specifications for the iQOO Neo 9 and Pad Air (anticipated)
Remember that the August 2023 Chinese announcement of the Vivo Pad Air included an 11.5-inch LCD display with 2.8K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 870 chip, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, an 8,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and an Android 13 operating system based on Origin OS 3.
A 6.78-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 5,160mAh battery with 120W fast charging, and Android 14 based on OriginOS 4 are all reportedly features of the iQOO Neo 9. It will include two cameras on the back: an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS capability. The front camera will be 16 megapixels.
