The Moto g35 5G Smartphone Arrives in India for Rs 9,999: Key Features

The Moto g35 5G, a new low-cost 5G smartphone from China’s Lenovo-owned Motorola, has been released in India. The manufacturer claims that it supports 12 5G bands, making it the first in its sector. The Moto g35 5G has a 50-megapixel camera with 4K video recording capabilities and a fullHD+ display.

The Moto g35 5G, which retails for Rs 9,999, comes in a single version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Starting on December 16, the smartphone will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Motorola India’s official website, and a few physical retailers.

The Moto g35 5G has a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen with selectable refresh rates between 60 and 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 provides durability protection for the display, and a stereo speaker system with Dolby Atmos surround sound is included.

The UNISOC T760 chip powers the smartphone together with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage and 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Up to 12GB of RAM can be added using virtual RAM technology. The Moto g35 5G has a 50MP primary rear camera with support for an 8MP ultra-wide camera that can record 4K video. A 16MP selfie sensor is located on the front.

Techarc revealed that the Moto g35 5G is the fastest 5G smartphone in India for less than Rs 13,000 in price. It operates on both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G bands, supports 12 5G bands, and is interoperable with all network operators.

The smartphone has a 5,000mAh battery and can be charged via 20W cable. With Motorola promising an update to Android 15 and three years of security upgrades, it comes pre-installed with Android 14.
