In March, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro made its debut in China. According to reports, Vivo is currently preparing to launch the foldable phone in India. Although the Chinese IT company has not yet provided a timeline, a recent report indicates that it will become official the following month. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC from Qualcomm powers the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. It has an 8.03-inch AMOLED internal panel with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It boasts three back cameras with the Zeiss brand, and it can hold up to 1TB of data and have up to 16GB of RAM.
According to MySmartPrice, which cites industry sources, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will go on sale in India in “early June.” Should this leak prove to be accurate, it will be the first Vivo foldable to be sold in other countries.
Previous models of Vivo’s folding smartphones, like as the Fold+ and Fold 2, were only available in their home country. In India, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro would go up against devices like the Tecno Phantom V Fold, OnePlus Open, and Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Concurrently, a Vivo phone sporting the model number V2330 with an Android 14 operating system, 16GB of RAM, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU just surfaced on Geekbench. It is thought that this phone is the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro worldwide variant.
Launched with Android 14 and topped with OriginOS 4, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro made its debut in China. It has a 6.53-inch (1,172×2,748 pixel) AMOLED cover display in addition to an 8.03-inch primary 2K (2,200×2,480 pixel) E7 AMOLED display. Up to 120Hz refresh rate is supported by both screens. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It includes a carbon fibre hinge certified by TUV Rheinland to endure 500,000 folds, as well as a Vivo V3 imaging chip.
On the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, Vivo has included a 50-megapixel primary camera as part of a triple rear camera arrangement. 32-megapixel selfie cameras are located on both the outside and interior screens. In addition to being dust and water resistant (IPX8), it is powered by a 5,700mAh lithium battery that supports both wired and wireless charging at 100W and 50W, respectively.
