About Darjeeling

Darjeeling is situated at a height of around 6710 feet and is perhaps the most excellent objections in Indium. The name Darjeeling came from two Tibetan words ‘dorje’ importance and ‘ling’ significance land. So Darjeeling in a real sense signifies ‘the place that is known for thunderclap’.

During February 1829, an English Official Inscription Llyod put in a couple of days in Darjeeling. The spot was then known as the “Old Gorkha Station of Darjeeling”.
