This week will witness a spike in the number of new smartphone releases in India, particularly in the entry-level market. This week’s new releases are the Motorola Edge 50, Realme 13 Pro series, and Nothing Phone 2a Plus.

With the exception of the Realme 13 Pro series, the majority are already part of the roster, albeit with a few little changes.

Nothing on Phone 2a Plus

It will be an improved model of the Nothing Phone 2a, which was released in March. The MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro SoC with up to 12 GB RAM will be included with the Phone 2a Plus. It is anticipated that Nothing will also marginally alter the Phone 2a Plus’s optical configuration.

Realme 13 Pro series

The Realme 12 Pro series, which debuted in January of this year, is succeeded by the new series. It is anticipated that the upcoming Realme 13 Pro smartphones would have a 32 MP selfie camera. There may be a 50 MP primary lens and two auxiliary sensors on the back.

One possible 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display for the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+ is possible. These phones have a 5,200 mAh capacity battery. On July 30, Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro+ will go on purchase.

Motorola Edge 50

Since the higher models have already been released, this would be an inverted type launch, with the basic variant arriving in India first. The Motorola Edge 50 will be certified for durability at the military level.

A Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, 5,000 mAh cell, and 15 W charger are probably going to be used. A 32 MP selfie camera and a 6.67-inch pOLED display are possible. A 50 MP primary camera, a 13 MP ultrawide lens, and a 10 MP telephoto lens are anticipated to be used.

On August 1, the Motorola Edge 50 will go on sale.
