Vivo Releases The Y300 Pro, A Mid-Range Smartphone With Detailed Specs And Cost

The Vivo Y300 Pro, a new standout in Vivo’s midrange Y series portfolio, was just unveiled in China. This newest smartphone has several RAM and storage options to suit varied needs and comes in four eye-catching colours: Black Jade, Gold with Jade, White, and Titanium.

The Vivo Y300 Pro’s 6.77-inch AMOLED display is impressive. With a maximum refresh rate of 120 times per second, the screen offers a full-HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,392 pixels, guaranteeing fluidity in everything from gaming to scrolling. Even in direct sunshine, the display remains vivid and readable thanks to its 3,840Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM) fading and 5,000 nits of peak brightness.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and Adreno 710 GPU within the Y300 Pro provide powerful performance for both routine chores and demanding apps. It has 512GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM, so there’s more than enough space for your games, apps, and movies. The Y300 Pro, which is powered by Android 14 and runs OriginOS 4, promises a seamless and modern user experience.

The Vivo Y300 Pro boasts a dual rear camera arrangement for photography enthusiasts, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, both of which are intended to produce detailed and crisp images. Sharp and colourful images can be obtained with the 32-megapixel front camera, which has an f/2.0 aperture, making it ideal for selfies and video chats.

The Y300 Pro excels in battery life because of its 6,500mAh battery and 80W rapid charging capacity. According to Vivo, a single charge can provide up to 23.2 hours of video playback or 31.52 hours of standby time. The phone weighs roughly 194 grammes and has dimensions of 163.4 x 76.4 x 7.69 mm. Its sturdy battery is balanced with its thin design.

Numerous connectivity options, including Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Wi-Fi, are also included with the Vivo Y300 Pro. It has several sensors, such as a proximity sensor, gyroscope, e-compass, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor. Modern security is enhanced by the fingerprint sensor integrated into the display. It is also resistant to dust and water, with an IP65 rating, making it sturdy for regular usage.

The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,799 (about Rs. 21,000), while the top-of-the-line 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model costs CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 29,000). The Vivo Y300 Pro is expected to leave a lasting impression on the midrange smartphone market because to its unique combination of premium features and affordable price.
