Vivo S19 Series and Watch GT to Launch on May 30: Colour Selections and Camera Specifications Revealed
The basic and pro variants of the Vivo S18 series, which debuted in China last year, include 50-megapixel primary cameras and AMOLED panels. The Vivo S19 series is set to ship this month, as confirmed by the Chinese smartphone company. They’ll be released concurrently with the Vivo Watch GT.
Vivo S19 Series Launch Date Revealed in China
On Vivo’s Weibo page, the Vivo S19 series and the Vivo Watch GT debut date in China were disclosed. It is scheduled for May 30 at 7:00 p.m. CST (3:30 p.m. IST). Additionally, the firm teased the phone’s Aura light rear camera setup—which supports optical image stabilisation (OIS)—on its official China website.
Three colour options—Misty Green, Peach Blossom Fan, and Qianshan Green—are confirmed to be offered for the Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro. In the meantime, the Vivo Watch GT, which has a square display, is available in four colours.
On Weibo, Vivo also posted a few camera samples of the Vivo S19 pair. The sample demonstrates the image sensor’s developments in cameras. It is confirmed that they have a five-focal-length full-focus portrait camera.
Additionally, 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary and 50-megapixel Sony telephoto portrait cameras will be included in the Vivo S19 series, according to a statement made by Jia Jingdon, vice president of Vivo.
Vivo S19 Series Specifications (Expected)
It is anticipated that the Vivo S19 and Vivo S19 Pro would have 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screens. The MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC may power the former, while the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC may power the latter. The Pro model may have a 5,500mAh battery, while the ordinary model is probably going to have a 6,000mAh battery. 80W rapid charging is anticipated to be supported by them.
