Following the release of the Vivo V40 series, it appears that the business is preparing to release another mid-range phone in the same series, this time targeting the Indian market.
The Vivo V40e phone is a new entry on the Vivo website, and it appears to be coming shortly. In the meantime, some of the future phone’s specifications have already been verified; a different leak shows the V40e’s complete set of specs.
The listing claims that the gadget is a redesign of the Vivo V30e, featuring a new rear camera visor and Mint Green and Royal Bronze color options. In addition, its weight of about 183 grams should feel light in the hand. The gadget will have a 6.77-inch, 1080p, 120Hz refresh rate screen with a curved appearance on the corners. A 5500mAh battery with support for 80W rapid charging is sufficient to keep the lights on.
A 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with ZEISS lenses are featured on the redesigned camera visor. Additionally, a 50MP sensor for selfies is located on the front.
The device is thought to record two times as many professional portraits as the listing suggests, therefore the manufacturer is clearly highlighting its portrait photography skills. The primary camera also supports OIS+EIS 4K video capture.
Although the specs are confirmed by the manufacturer, Yogesh Brar, a tipster on X, revealed some other noteworthy details. These included a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, which is a change from Qualcomm, as the V30e was formerly equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. In addition, 8GB and perhaps up to 256GB of RAM are anticipated. Additionally, FunTouch OS, which is based on Android 14, is anticipated to launch with the smartphone.
Finally, it is targeted at the mid-range market, which is typically priced between $240 and $360, or between Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000. The tipster claims that, in keeping with last year’s schedule, the launch should occur around the final week of this month.
