The Vivo Y18s is a recent addition to the company’s phone lineup. It is very closely packed between Y18 and Y18e. The specifications are nearly identical, and the design is recognisable. The expectation is renewal in order to get the device into unexplored markets outside of China. The first market to accept it is Vietnam.
They were fortunate that the official page displayed a wide range of hardware options. A 6.56″ IPS panel with a refresh rate of 90 Hz is widely used. And the HD+ 720p resolution is something you may have already anticipated.
Its forehead and chin may not be as appealing to the eye. However, internally, it’s performing fairly well. The Helio G85 (2.0GHz) chip in the Y18s is configured to run Android 14. FunTouch OS 14 is compatible with this Helio G85/6GB combination.
The camera mechanism on the newest Vivo 4G smartphone is another noteworthy feature. Its two rear cameras are a 0.08MP assistance and a 50MP driver. You receive a rectangular protrusion with a dual vertical lens array situated on it.
And with the Y18s’ 5000mAh battery powering the whole thing, what’s not to love? It connects to a quick charge input of 15 W. While Wifi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and a MicroSD slot are functional, NFC is absent. The 6+128GB memory combo from Vivo is confirmed for Vietnam. However, the price is still undetermined.
