WhatsApp has Added Gestures and A Floating Button to Facilitate Group Voice Chats more Quickly

To make it simpler for users to initiate and participate in voice discussions, WhatsApp has added new audio group chat actions. WhatsApp Beta for Android version 2.24.25.22, which is accessible through the Google Play Beta Program, comes with this new feature.

A new floating action button has been added above the message send button in the most recent beta update. In group conversations, this greatly simplifies the process of initiating a voice conversation.

Previously, users had to select an option from the top app bar or navigate to the group info screen. The floating button now increases the feature’s visibility and accessibility for all group members.

Additionally, a new gesture function is now available for some beta testers to test. Users can initiate a voice chat right away by just scrolling up the group conversation. As a result, starting a conversation without taking any more steps is much faster.

In addition, WhatsApp is making voice chat accessible to smaller groups of people. Voice chats were previously limited to larger groups of 32 or more people. The audio chat feature is now available to even smaller groups of two persons.

When a voice conversation starts, users still have the option to alert every member. The voice chat will terminate automatically after 60 minutes if no one joins.

Some beta testers who have installed the most recent WhatsApp beta version are currently able to get this update. These new features will soon be available to more people.
