WhatsApp Introduces an iPad-Specific Communities Tab

WhatsApp has upgraded to version 24.13.10.74 with the release of a new firmware via the TestFlight beta programme.

With this upgrade, which is already being made accessible to a small number of beta testers, iPad users can now access a communities page.

The functionality was initially suggested as an organising tool for communities and groups in the WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.9.0.76 upgrade.

Through a dedicated tab, it enables iPad users to manage and browse an extensive list of their communities right from within the app.

Update enhances user experience

Before this upgrade, users had to manually search among other conversations to identify communities within the chat list, which was inconvenient.

This limitation has been fixed in the most recent WhatsApp beta release, improving the iPad user experience.

It also gives iPad users the option to build communities straight from the app.

iPad users can now quickly manage and navigate their communities straight from the app thanks to the addition of a dedicated communities page.

Lottie framework for enhanced stickers

By incorporating the Lottie framework, WhatsApp has also improved the sticker messaging experience, introducing more lively and fluid animations.

All users who have updated to the most recent versions of WhatsApp for iOS and Android are now able to get this update.

There’s a new sticker pack available in WhatsApp’s official Sticker Store that adds official support for Lottie stickers.
